What Happens When Pastors Preach On Abortion And Sanctity Of Life

The Christian doctrine of sanctity of life is central to the battle to ensure legal rights for unborn children. Who better to promote this doctrine than those entrusted with the care of Christ’s Church?

"My pastor was preaching on the sanctity of life in January 2004," said Brenda Van Velkinburgh, who founded the Christmas Village with her husband Michael. "I thought there's got to be a way where Christians can take care of women."

Inspired by the story of Mary and Joseph seeking shelter for Mary to give birth to Jesus, the Christmas Village provides housing and programming to pregnant women 18 years and older. The home accepts women who plan to keep their babies or offer them for adoption.
