Feminism And Abortion Peas Of A Pod

According to his blog, Christianity: Doctrine and Ethics Pastor Ron Gleason, a Presbyterian pastor, has a very outstanding and somewhat unusual background, being a former tank commander and instructor in the US Army as well.

Today was my first visit to his blog, having received an online link to the site because one of his recent postings mentioned abortion, NOW and feminism. After taking a closer look, I realized that he has been doing a series on “Christian feminism” and he’s made some very interesting observations.

It is difficult to have any Christian concern for the killing of unborn children without at the same time realizing its intimate connection with “feminism.” Almost daily I encounter somewhere the vitriol against and disregard for the unborn which emanates from self described true feminists screaming loudly the mantra of "reproductive rights" yet ignoring the most fundamental right to life of innocent human beings in the womb.

At some time in the future I’d like to highlight the link between abortion and feminism on the Vote Life, Canada! blog but for now at least, it’s worth taking a look at Pastor Gleason’s postings.

I often notice the vitriol against the unborn child from the feminists at Bread n Roses.

It's positively sickening.

Some of these people claim to love the unborn child.

Then in the next breath, they call the unborn a "blob" or medical waste.

That's not love.

I think it's about time people underscored the feminist hate-on for the fetus.

By the way, the article from Gleason that you quoted is HUGE. A quote might have been in order.

Suzanne,
You're right, the post was quite long. A few quotes would have helped those on the run.
Thanks.
