John Wesley, Savages And Abortion

In a posting entitled “Christians and savages, then and now,” Jill Stanek contrasts the thinking of non-Christian “savages” regarding abortion, as recorded by John Wesley in 1736, with the thinking and actions today on the same subject by professing Christians, many of whom she terms “savage” Christians.

In America, we've gone from a time nearly three centuries ago when supposedly savage non-Christians confessed the wrongness of abortion to fundamental Christians, to today when truly savage Christians tout the rightness of abortion with fundamental Christians afraid to say anything.
