How Planned Parenthood Continues to Farm for More Business

American Life League has released its latest video exposé of Planned Parenthood. In Canada, most Planned Parenthood offices have changed their name to Canadian Federation for Sexual Health but unfortunately they are engaged in the same evil business.

Planned Parenthood promotes “Mile High Club,” recreational sex

WASHINGTON, D.C.— American Life League slammed the latest ad campaign of Planned Parenthood Golden Gate, describing their new “safe sex” ad as a promotion tool for new abortions, and took strong exception to the fact that the campaign was paid for with taxpayer dollars.

“Planned Parenthood says it promotes sexual health, but in reality, it’s just promoting recreational sex,” said American Life League vice president Jim Sedlak. Planned Parenthood Golden Gate recently released an ad campaign to be aired on MTV, VH-1, and Comedy Central that associates Planned Parenthood with the so-called Mile High Club.

Sedlak explained, “Planned Parenthood makes one third of its income by providing contraceptives and abortions. It promotes recreational sex to keep demand for their business high.”

The Mile High Club is a slang term used to describe people who have engaged in sexual activity aboard an airplane at least one mile above the earth’s surface.

“By linking itself to the Mile High Club, Planned Parenthood’s message is loud and clear,” said Sedlak. “It is telling kids in the 18-24 age bracket to ‘Have sex! It’s fun.’ In reality, Planned Parenthood is just farming for more business.”

“What most people probably do not know is that ads such as these are paid for with taxpayer money,” said Sedlak. “The Federal Government gives at least $305 million annually to Planned Parenthood. This must end! American Life League is continuing its call to American taxpayers to sign the online petition at www.StopPlannedParenthoodTaxFunding.com and contact state and federal elected officials to cut Planned Parenthood off from our wallets!”

American Life League Releases Video Report on Children's Sex Book

Protest in Cincinnati Outside Planned Parenthood Drives City Council to Try Limiting Free Speech Rights

Here’s an interesting story out of Cincinnati yesterday by WLWT TV in Cincinnati about a protest outside the local Planned Parenthood clinic in Mount Auburn.

There are a thousand ways to try to restrict the right to free speech by those concerned about “politically incorrect” protests. In this case it looks like city council is proposing an “ordinance that would require protesters to carry any sign they display.”

The tenacity of those who hold to the “extreme” viewpoint that abortion kills a child and is morally wrong is what holds the pro-life movement together. We must keep up the fight to speak for those whose voice cannot be heard!

Measure Would Limit Anti-Abortion Signs Near Clinic

CINCINNATI -- Protesters gather nearly every day outside the local Planned Parenthood clinic in Mount Auburn, but some of them are worried that a new proposal could limit their right to free speech.

The entire neighborhood would be affected by a proposed ordinance that would require protesters to carry any sign they display.

“What's happening on Auburn Avenue, which is Main Street for Mount Auburn, is that one protester will line up 50 signs, sitting on the street or against poles, (and) that becomes a distraction for business (and) residents,” said Stanley Broadnax of the Mount Auburn community council.

Ray Loebker said the proposal made him wonder how far his rights extend.

“If they take this away they're taking away freedom of speech, yes,” he said.

He said the signs lined up along Auburn Avenue have an affect on the clinic’s clients.

“The girls coming out who changed their mind, you ask them why, (and) they'll point to that graphic sign down there or say the signs in general changed their mind,” Loebker said.

Broadnax said he understood the protesters’ worries, but he said he was concerned about preserving the neighborhood.

“That's his form of expression, but when it begins to impinge upon the rights of businesses and residents in the neighborhood, then we need to look at an issue of fairness and balance,” he said.

The proposal has been placed before City Council’s law committee, which will examine the measure to see whether it would stand up to a certain legal challenge.

Religious "leaders" who support abortion gathered Wednesday to call for a day of prayer this Sunday in support of Planned Parenthood's soon-to-open Aurora clinic. The "leaders" -- from throughout the Chicago area -- met at the Chicago Temple downtown (First United Methodist Church at the Chicago Temple), saying they wanted to reclaim the moral mantle from the anti-abortion activists who have been vocally opposing the clinic.

The nine clergy at the Chicago Temple said ensuring women's access to abortions is a matter of social justice and consistent with the lessons of their faiths.

"To deny women access to, and choices about, abortion, to contraceptives, to sexuality education, is essentially to deny them their moral standing," said the Rev. Larry Greenfield, executive minister of the American Baptist Churches of Metro Chicago.

Good Pro-Life Strategy: Always Take A Friend And A Camera

Vote Life, Canada! has reported several times previously on the news from Aurora, Illinois, where a huge Planned Parenthood mega-abortion clinic was secretly introduced into an unsuspecting community and city council. This story is likely to go national in a BIG way.

The title of this posting arises from a report by Eric Scheidler about some of the happenings in Aurora, Illinois, where not only were two pro-abortion advocates arrested for kicking memorial crosses and shoving a prayer volunteer, but also a 17-year-old girl was hit in the arm by a pellet.

Pro-lifers are being encouraged to bring a video camera along with you for

any type of protest that you may be participating in outside of PP. As we have seen, there are pro-abortion advocates who use violence towards our peaceful, prayerful vigils outside of PP.

This brings me to my point.

Since my arrest one week ago today I’ve had an opportunity to reflect on many of the dynamics of that incident. One new policy which will be instituted immediately by Vote Life, Canada! in all its endeavours pertaining to public outings where pro-life messages are being delivered is to always take a friend and a camera or an audio recording device at the very minimum.

Why? Because the “other side,” who once again have proved themselves to be the true extremists, do not play a fair game.

They don’t want the free exchange of ideas—except their own ideas. They don’t want any reminders whatsoever that there are, in fact, opposing viewpoints and the mere presence of an individual with such a viewpoint at an event where they are showcasing their narrow minded hypocrisy constitutes, for them, a threat and a serious violation—one that must be met with police action and with force if necessary.

Yes, it’s “thought control” and the “thought police” must be called in. In order to further obfuscate the truth of the pro-life message being communicated they seek to discredit the individual with the opposing viewpoint using negative, if not accusatory, terms such as “anti-abortion activist,” “extremist” or “right wing radical.”

If necessary, in order to justify their actions they will also resort to outright lies, such as publicizing the individual on television news as a “disruptive protester,” or one who “disrupted” the meeting, even when there is not the slightest shred of evidence that the pro-lifer disrupted anything or anyone. To them, the mere fact of holding a viewpoint contrary to theirs is disruptive and simply bringing that viewpoint to a public meeting is doubly disruptive.

As always, the truth is the very thing that exposes these low-life tactics for what they are. In fact, it’s the worst nightmare for those using such tactics. And nothing tells the truth like a picture, a video or even an audio recording. It would have been very helpful to have a short video of the few minutes it took Religious Coalition bouncer Arnold Bennett and his officer cronies to identify me and have me thrown out of the Press Conference.

You know, just in case anyone really wanted to know the details of how I “disrupted” the Conference.

Or perhaps better still, video of police whisking me away and into the double-caged “paddy wagon” for the duration of the Press Conference.

So pro-lifers, maybe even Christians in general these days, bring your friend and your camera when you plan to deliver a “truth” message for a world gone off track.

One more thing: Be sure your friend doesn’t actually accompany you at your side. Have him/her at the event but arriving at the event shortly before or after you yet close enough to catch anything on film or audio should there be a need to.

Fair is fair, no?

40-Day Vigil Launched to Stop 'Abortion Fortress'

AURORA, Illinois, August 15 /Christian Newswire/ -- "Next month, Planned Parenthood intends to open one of the largest abortuaries on the face of the earth," said Pro-Life Action League Communications Director Eric Scheidler. "We're praying that never happens."

Scheidler is leading a massive prayer campaign to stop the opening of a new, 22,000 square foot Planned Parenthood facility at 3051 E. New York Street in Aurora, Illinois, in the western suburbs of Chicago. On August 9, Scheidler launched a 40-day around-the-clock vigil that will run through September 18, the scheduled opening date of the center.

"Planned Parenthood snuck into our town -- neither the city of Aurora nor many of the contractors working on the building knew what it really was," noted Scheidler, an Aurora resident. "Now they're going to try to sneak into our schools, drive a wedge between parents and children, and begin killing unborn babies here. Not without a fight."

The new building was constructed under the name "Gemini Medical Office Building." The League was tipped off to the site's real purpose by a contractor familiar with the construction. Calls and e-mails to the city government by dozens of pro-lifers caught the interest of the press, and the true identity of "Gemini" was revealed: it is none other than Planned Parenthood.

Aurora pro-lifers were dismayed at the prospect of an abortuary opening on the east side of their town. Only ten months ago, the west side abortuary of notorious abortionist Aleksander Jakubowski finally closed once and for all.

But local activists by the hundreds are rallying to fight the massive new center, which has been dubbed the "Abortion Fortress" because of its high brick walls, bulletproof glass and numerous security cameras.

Scheidler acknowledged that it will be hard to stop the facility from opening. "Planned Parenthood knew what they were doing. Pro-lifers have stymied them before when they knew Planned Parenthood was coming to town. This time they kept things quiet until it was too late to halt construction."

Nevertheless, Scheidler is optimistic. "This is the most powerful grassroots pro-life effort I've ever seen," he commented. Churches of all denominations from throughout the Chicago area are taking part in the 40-Day Vigil, which is already bringing forth miracles of conversion in the community. "We can scarcely keep track of the prayer pledges coming in," he said.

The pro-lifers have set up a website for the campaign, FamiliesAgainstPlannedParenthood.org, where concerned citizens can learn about the danger of Planned Parenthood, get resources, and even sign up for the Vigil.

A community meeting is planned at the Prisco Center, 150 W. Illinois in Aurora on Thursday, August 16 at 7 p.m. which will feature veteran Planned Parenthood foe Jim Sedlak, Pro-Life Action League National Director Joe Scheidler, and pro-life attorney Denise Mackura. A massive protest is planned at the Planned Parenthood site August 25 from 9-11 a.m.

Scheidler concluded, "The people of Aurora and their neighbors in nearby towns do not want an abortion clinic here. Period."
