Liberals Are Attempting to Fund Abortions World-Wide

Rep. Nita Lowey (D-NY-FRCA 0%), Chairman of the State and Foreign Operations Appropriations Subcommittee, has introduced language that passed through committee which jettisons the Mexico City Policy. Introduced by President Reagan, (removed by President Clinton and reinstated by President Bush) the Mexico City Policy prohibits federal funds from going to non-governmental organizations which promote or practice abortions as a means of family planning. Eliminating this policy however, allows liberals to take your taxpayer dollars and use it to promote and practice abortions in countries around the world.

Having passed through committee, the bill now moves to the floor of the House where it will face a vote next week. Please contact your representative and urge them to protect the Mexico City Policy and prohibit the use of your tax dollars to fund the unconscionable act of abortion.

Please call your congressman and ask that the Mexico City Policy be protected in the State and Foreign Operations Appropriations Bill. This way your tax dollars will be protected from going to promoting and practicing abortions world wide.
